Random thoughts for a March day

I love Gwen when she sleeps in my lap while I'm typing on the computer. I also love it when she snores because it's so cute. I think she loves it too.

I want to be a good writer but sometimes I feel like I suffer setbacks. I'll write such great things but then at times I write such mediocre things that I can't believe came out of my head and that I am ashamed of. Is that normal?

I'm keeping a paper jourhal now mostly because I still love the feel of a pen and paper. It's just not the same to see your words on the computer screen versus beautifully and artfully scribbled out on paper.
